Damn, Damn, Double Damn!!!

I am just about to rip out this damned shawl for the fifth (YES, FIFTH) time, and I have come to a conclusion...

If we (the shawl and I) can't get our act together, it is going to be either it or me, and I like ME better.

With my naturally forgiving nature, I will give it one more chance before it has to go to shawl heaven...

YOu CAN DO IT!!!!! The only bit of "duh" advice I can think of is to just check every row or two before going on.....I'm so sorry this is frustrating for you, but it's gonna be sooo gorgeous!

Twice the Diamond Fantasy Shawl (in Kid Silk Haze and then Cherry Tree Hill sock yarn) kicked my butt...and the 'swatches' of both (at least 100 rows of each) are all that remains. I even sold the yarn.

Some of us are meant to be lace knitters. Just because it's taking this long doesn't mean you're not. Only you can decide that.

As for me...definitely *not* a lace knitter. An admirer for sure, but *so* not.

I totally respect your continued attempts and pray that you'll be met with crashing success on the next try!
